The yearly soccer Limbe tradition segmented into 3 categories that is;U14,U16 and U18 with 12 teams in the contest for the different crowns ,has been a platform for talents detection over the years.Daunting the task was this year with new comers on the race course like Buea united,Isohsa ,TAD sport academy just to name this few.
Within the one week soccer romance in the sea site resort town of Limbe in the U14 category, EFBC thrashed her opponent Ngahane academy by 2-0 to lift up the converted trophy in the category during a tight but,hotly contested game.TAD sport academy during the second game of the day at the prominent Limbe centenary stadium, suffered a 1-0 defeat in the hands of Galactic football academy in a fairly balanced game.The cracker of the day in the U18 category,was between Best stars academy a regular participant in this category but never a champion as they once again suffered a defeat 2-0 in the hands of the no-nonsense soccer side EFBC.Participants expressed gratitude to the main organisers of the tournament which was void of any professional malpractice aside the disqualification of Isohsa Fc in the semi finals because of fraudulent license of 7 players.
Prizes of different sort in every category was shared to the players and clubs that distinguished themselves during the week long tournament, with the hope of meeting again in 2025.
