During a press conference on August 01,2024 in Douala,the venerated film director Musing Derick while announcing the movie premiere on August 3,took out time to brief the press on the content of the 1hr30minute movie which highlights the urgent need in eradicating corruption practices in cameroon.
The movie which has as main character popular actress and film producer Stephanie Tum who played the role of a female lawyer who finds herself muddled in one of the largest schemes in her country,had a bitter pill to swallow between adhering to her legal oath,doing the right thing or yielding to her passion.According to the main character « it was so challenging mentally and emotionally,since there was no moment when the character is happy nor excited thus,it was very draining »the actress pointed out.
Nevertheless, Nigerian star actor Efa Iwara was part of the caravan to accompany the Cameroon film industry in this mission.After Douala,other locations will be visited like Bamenda and beyond the continent landing in Canada and USA.With over 20 years experience in the Cameroon film industry,Musing Derick has decided to use his craft to preach about the vices of corruption in Africa which continues hindering meaningful development in the continent.
