It has become a yearly traditional adopted by municipal authorities in the Douala subdivision under the stewardship of Mayor Valentine Epoupa Bossambo to always extend a hand of solidarity with the needy during end of year festivity.
Monday December 18,2023 at the esplanade of the D.O’s office,it was an electrifying moment as they turned out amass to attend the event as beneficiaries and their huge surprises which their municipal authorities had reserve for them as orphans and IDP’s residing in the municipality.Oh yes!what a surprise it was indeed as compared to previous editions.Thanks to a huge fanfare and material support from Boissons du cameroun,over 1000 lives were torched as they retire celebrating already after haven received bags of rice, vegetable oil, spaghetti and many other items to enable them join their peers the world over in the festivity when the roll call Will be launched.
However, mayor Valentine Epoupa Bossambo expressed great satisfaction in seeing the underprivileged retire home visibly satisfied during this festive season despite the economic challenges which life has slapped every cameroonian on their faces while hoping that,2024 could be a more fruitful year in the municipality.
